He is survived by: his wife Donna Whitaker; his son Douglas Whitaker (Kelly) of Manchester, MO; his granddaughters, Lauren Whitaker-Donahue (Mark) of Cypress, TX and Kristen Whitaker of Manchester, MO; his great grandchild Hazel Whitaker-Donahue; and his sisters, Verna Garvey of Oak Grove, MO and Virginia Burton of Douglas City, CA. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Dwane Whitaker to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church or the American Heart Association and left at Wilson Mortuary.
