She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner A Happel and Bessie Malone Happel; her husband Doyle Shelton; her son Denny Shelton; and her siblings, Alva Happel, Ruth Craft, Herbert Happel, Irvin Happel and Floyd Happel.

She is survived by: her close friend Bill Cowan; and her daughter Pat of Salem, MO. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
