He is survived by: his spouse Almaretta Leona Leible; his children, Ron Schaefer (Patty), Don Schaefer (Angela) of Scott City and Linda Finchum of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Kristin, Matthew, Lauren, Garett, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Samantha, Sadie and Shelby; his great grandchildren, Ellie Shea, Lucas, Kaidence, Emery, Ava Damara, Khakasa and Eleanor; and his siblings, Edward Schaefer (Georgia) of Scott City, Anton Schaefer (Barbara) of Columbia, Gary Schaefer of Pilot Knob, Missouri, Laverne Owens of Scott City and Georgia Leible of Kelso.
