He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hejtmanek and Anna Hejtmanek (Cerny); his spouse Ardella Hill; his son Danny Hejtmanek; his grandson Adam Strodtman; and his siblings, Emil Hejtmanek, Joseph Hejtmanek and Elsie Krajicek.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Pfannenstiel (Tom) of Blue Springs, MO and Chris Hejtmanek (Sharon) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Matthew Strodtman, Cody Hejtmanek, Kyle Hejtmanek and Shelly Barnett; his great grandchildren, Zoe Strodtman, Ella Strodtman, Clay Barnett, Coal Barnett and Sage Barnett; and his brother Dennis Hejtmanek of Thornton, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
