Charles N. Zimmerschied Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles N. Zimmerschied of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Charles and Alma Catherine Zimmerschied (Goss); his wife Betty Vogelsmeier Vickery; his siblings, Connie Ann Sousley and Kenny Zimmerschied; and his son-in-law Tim Hardy.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Hardy of Green Ridge and Kevin Zimmerschied (Missy) of Green Ridge; his siblings, Paul Zimmerschied of Sedalia, Ralph Zimmerschied of Sedalia, Mary Dixon of Sedalia and Ella Oliver of Sedalia; and his grandsons, Jacob Hardy, Noah Hardy and Mitchell Zimmerschied. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Sacred Heart Chapel (421 W 3rd St, Sedalia, MO 65301). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Springfork Cemetery (24818 Hwy U, Sedalia, MO 65301).
