She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Keith Mumby and Charleen Mary Mumby (Smith); her daughter Melinda Bennington; her grandson Damon Bennington; her stepfather Gerald Foster; her sister-in-law Esther Bunn Earley Dreesman; and her parents-in-law, Doris Bunn and James Bunn.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis J. Bunn Sr.; her son Brian Mumby of Sedalia; her stepchildren, Jamie Stephenson of Iowa, Carol Michalek (Chuck) of Iowa and DJ Bunn of Iowa; her grandchildren, Kira and Logan Mumby; her sisters, Betty Harp (Tom) of Ladora, IA, Mary Daharsh (Gary) of Lincoln, NE and Patti Selk (Doug) of Grinnell, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Curley (Danny) of Laclede, MO and Brenda Fisch (Dave) of Montezuma, IA.. She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren.
