She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Charles and Mary "Tootsie" Shields (Murry); and her spouse Thomas Franklin Rice. She is survived by: her sons, Darren Rice of Sedalia and Kevin Rice of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Alexa, Alex and Jamie Rice; and her brother Louis Shields.
