It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Bower of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Forrest and Ethel Mae Elkins Sr. (Maltsberger); her husband Eugene Lewis Bower; her son David Bower; and her siblings, Howard Elkins, Willie Forrest Elkins, Jr., James Elkins, Robert "Bob" Elkins, Marjorie Gearheart, Zelma "Skeeter" Meyer and Wanda Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Bower of Sedalia and Cheryl Callahan (Clint) of Cole Camp; her sister Ruth Kindle of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, David Bower II, Kyle Bower, Hilary Weber (Matt) and Emily Mayo (Randy). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
