Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harry Ficken (Sedalia, Missouri), born in Benton, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 82, on September 28, 2019. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry and Della Marie Ficken (Viebrock); his daughters, Kathleen Hawn (Robert), Tamorah Miller (Gerry), Melanie O'Bier (Terry) and Kristin Simmons (Kenton); his grandson Scott Ficken (Karen); his siblings, William (Thelma) and Luanna Andrews Shively; his sister-in-law Vicki Esser; and his brothers, John and Curtis Ficken. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in his memory be made to either The LAM Foundation, 4520 Cooper Road, Suite 300, Cincinnati OH 45242; The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, PO Box 414238, Boston, MA 02241-4238 or The Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation in support of research for a cure for diseases that his children suffer.
