He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold and Dorothy Elmeta Burlingame (Dietzman). He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Hefner; his sisters, Betsy Bass (Raymond) of Lee's Summit and Augusta Guth of Kansas City, KS; his children, James Burlingame (Tracy) of Marshall and Melynda Roberts of Newport News, VA; and his grandchildren, Shawn Burlingame, Matthew Burlingame of Marshall, Jamie Butterfield of Sedalia and Sara Mattingly of Newport News, VA.
