He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Smith and Violet Smith (Cole); his wife Sonja Register; and his siblings, Bob Smith and Kay Harper.
He is survived by: his son Beau Calabria (Marty) of Greensboro, NC; his siblings, Dick Smith (Fanny) of Glasgow, KY, Claudette Smith of Greenwood, MO and Cindy Cramer (Jimmy) of Sedalia; and his great grandchildren, Colton Tryon, Rylie Naylor and Cooper Tryon. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
