She was predeceased by: her parents, Voytil R. Denney and Frances Denney (Gott); her spouse Dr. Orlis J. Durnell; and her siblings, William Denney (Bill), Fern Nivens and Ruth Presley.
She is survived by: her sons, Larus (Diane Durnell) of Peoria, AZ and Joe (Sharon Durnell) of Saint Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Taylor Burkhead, Lorellin Durnell, Cattrina Scharbrough, Nick Cross, Jason Scharbrough, Cayman Girard, Venice Cross, Coen Girard, Julian Cross, Isaac Cross, Andrew Durnell, Isaac Durnell and OJ Durnell; and also, Rebecca Durnell, Laura (Tim Girard), Nathan (Teresa Durnell), Bradley (Sarah Durnell), Rachael Durnell, Erik Eimar and April Eimar.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to State Fair Community College Foundation in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
