It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leo Ellison (Sedalia, Missouri), born in Tipton, Missouri, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmitt and Lolita Beatrice Ellison; and his siblings, Bill, Donnie, Lawrence Jewell Ellison and Laura Nell Pohl.
He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, John David Ellison (Katherine) of Benton, Arkansas and Donna Kay LaFon (Frank) of Greenfield, Indiana; his siblings, Charlie Ellison, Russell Ellison (Debbie), Joanne Tye (Don) and Carol Sue Lurten (Orbie); his grandsons, Adam Shafer of Scranton and Jim LaFon (Mandy) of Greenfield; and his great grandchild Lyla LaFon.
