He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Brandkamp and Nellie Brandkamp (Schlons); his son Richard Brandkamp; his siblings, Buck, Lawrence, Robert, Joe Brandkamp, Anna Lee Hill, Bessie Smith and Geraldine Bradley; his parents-in-law, Carl and Pearl Heuerman; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Heuerman and Lorine Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Heuerman; his son John Brandkamp of Sedalia; his siblings, Gertrude Burton of Independence, MO and Charles Brandkamp of Sedalia; and his stepbrother David Schlons of Sedalia. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
