He was predeceased by: his father Gale Oren Barnes; and his stepfather Dewey Collins. He is survived by: his mother Connie Lee Collins of Sedalia; his siblings, Brenda Marshall of Hughesville and Joey Barnes (Michelle) of Virginia; and his siblings' children, Derrick Marshall (Sarah) of Sedalia and Miranda Schwartz (Matt) of Hughesville.
