He was predeceased by: his parents, Perle W. Stine and Hazel M. Stine (Petty); his son Steve Turner; and his former wives, Ruby Jean Stine and Betty Fletcher Stine.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Stine (Luper); his daughter Susan Turner Sherlock (Mike) of Rhode Island; his stepson Brett Allen (Kailey); and his sister-in-law Margie Stine (Jay Stine). He is also survived by six children.
In memory of Joe, he would want memorial contributions sent to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
