He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hinton and Marthella Maxine Gorrell (DeJarnett); his siblings, Bonnie Utt (Gorrell) and George H. Gorrell, Jr.; his nephew Jeffrey Utt; and his sister-in-law Anna Catherine Manual.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Lou Case; his daughters, Delona Deane Potter (Jeff) and Darcia Diane Koetting (Jeff); his grandchildren, Quinten Koetting (Krista), Eric Potter (Erin), Carleigh Williams (Robert), Lindsey Potter, Coulten Koetting and Courtney Koetting; his great grandchildren, Parker Williams, Oliver Potter, Jocie Williams and Penny Potter; his siblings-in-law, Janet Shelledy, Jami Schroeder and James Earl Case, Jr (Kelly); his aunt Betty; and his uncle Bill Pettit. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Broadway Presbyterian Church Preschool, Yes Yes for Sedalia for the Heckart Community Center, Green Ridge Scholarship Fund or Williams Syndrome Association and may be left in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
