Wendel of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Wendel and Pearl T. Wendel (Berger); his wife Matilda Mikel "Mike" Helland; his daughter Valerie Appleton; his brother Gerald Wendel; and his siblings-in-law, Victoria Wendel and Edwin Chanek.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Welch (Daniel), Lauren Wells (Jason), Melinda Allain and Bridgett Wendel; his siblings, Donald Wendel (Virginia) of Sedalia, Richard Wendel (Sharon) of Teague, TX and Clementine "Jo" Chanek of Victoria, TX; and his niece Tana Murray (Jason) of Cole Camp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including his caregiver.
