It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lola Schumaker of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Carrizo Springs, Texas, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Robert Burkhead; her husband Melvin Leroy Schumaker; her sister Sherry Schwermer; and her grandparents, Ollie and Estella Dhority.

She is survived by: her mother Anna Burkhead Benitz; her daughters, Brandy Holt of Madison, AL and Ashley Burks of Sedalia; her siblings, Scott Burkhead (Debbie) of Oklahoma City, OK, Angie Venable (Buck) of Sedalia, Cindy Templeton (Dan Baker) of Sedalia and Shelia Patton (Mike) of Sedalia; her grandchildren, Leroy Schumaker, Blake Burks and Adrianna Burks; and her great grandchild Oaklynn Schumaker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Boys and Girls Club in care of the funeral chapel.
