Marion Edward Schmidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2020, at the age of 102, Marion Edward Schmidt (Sedalia, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Schmidt and Maggie Schmidt (Ashbrook); his wife Ruth Schmidt (Morrison); his son Butch Schmidt; and his siblings, George Schmidt and Opal Cutler.
He is survived by: his children, Judy C. Meyer (Schmidt) of Sedalia and John R. Schmidt of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Angela Berry (Neil), John Aaron Schmidt and Melissa Johnson (Jausch); and his stepgrandson Harry Hoffert (Julie). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
