She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Russell James Jeffries and Frances Jeffries (Newton); her husband Walter Lee Long; her son Kevin Long (Kristy) of Smithton; her brother Russell Wallace "Wally" Jeffries (Darlene) of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Amanda Long Wilkens (Robert) of Springfield, MO and Kolten Long of Smithton; and her great grandchild Joanna Wilkens.

Friends and family may make memorial contributions to the Flat Baptist Church Cemetery fund in care of the funeral chapel.
