She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Hansen and Corinne C. Hansen; her spouse Merlyn McCown; her parents-in-law, Morris "Chick" McCown and Doyne J. E. McCown; and her brother Dean Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa G. McCown, Lori Shubert (Alan) of Gainesville, GA and Mark McCown of Sedalia; her grandchildren, Kimberly Wise (Jeremy), Stephenie Fite (Richie), Matthew McCown, Jackson McCown and Julia McCown; her great grandchildren, Coy and Brody; her brother John "Dale" Hansen of Lee's Summit; and her friends, Ernie and Doris Buso.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Missouri State Fair Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
