He was predeceased by: his parent Clint P.; and his grandson Matthew Fortune. He is survived by: his parent Ruby J. Fortune (McNutt); and his children, Pamela Ann Fortune of Sedalia, Charles P. Fortune (Donna) of Columbia, Teresa Marie Fortune of Sedalia, Mary Beth Reid (Bob) of Houstonia and Paula Frances Fortune of Sedalia.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Patrick Church, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
