He was predeceased by: his father Robert Riggs; his son Benjamin Riggs; his sister Susan Riggs; his brother-in-law Doug Casdorph; and his nephew Adam Scott.
He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Riggs (Branch); his children, Jennifer Riggs of Sedalia and Jason Riggs of Sweet Springs, MO; his grandson Dylan Riggs; his significant other Toni Baker of Sedalia; and his siblings, Robert Riggs (Patty) of Cole Camp, Julie Casdorph of Sedalia and Janet Smith (Michael) of Cole Camp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
