He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph, Genevieve Withers and Robert Behen; and his uncle Gary J. Withers. He is survived by: his parents, David H. Withers and Dianne Withers (Behen); his brother Ralph "Eddie" Withers; his grandmother Mary Lou Behen of Sedalia; his aunts and uncles, Paul Withers, Pat Behen, Larry Archer of Jefferson City, Joe Behen of Kansas City, Doug Rundlett, Bill Chapman of Sedalia, Rosemary Rundlett, Melody Chapman of Sedalia, Kathy Archer, Robyn Behen of Jefferson City and Karen Behen of Kansas City; and his cousins, Julie Jaekel (Brian), John Withers (Carrie), Justin Withers (Ashlea), Beth Gerke (David), Adam Archer (Michelle), Jeremy Behen, Samantha, Mikaelee Behen, Tyler, Austin, Logan Jaekel, Abby, Morgan Withers and Ayden Lutjen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Sacred Heart School, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
