She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper William and Louisa Pearl Mickens (James); her husband George Dean Franklin; her daughter Janet Kay Swafford; her great grandchildren, Lucas Allen Franklin and Emma-Lea Marie Franklin; and her siblings, Kenneth Mickens, Harold Mickens, Jane Allen and Janice Naser.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Dean Franklin (Karen Lynn) of Sedalia, MO, David Wayne Franklin (Sheron Anne) of Centerview, MO and Karen Sue Oswald of Sedalia, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
