Sarah Ellen Tompkin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Ellen Tompkin (Sedalia, Missouri), who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John L. Long and Lucy Lair Fargo Long; her brother Denzel Long of Redfield; her children, Sally (Marge Meyer), Ted Tompkin of Dallas and Lucy Tompkin; her son-in-law Scott Thomas; her nephews, Richard Long of Minneapolis, John Long of Allen and Michael Long of Madison; and also James Norbert Thomas of Palo Alto.
Memorial contributions may be made to those charities which help women and children in need, such as United Methodist Women, and the Native American Heritage Association, South Dakota.
