She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Herbert Miesner and Cora Josephine Miesner (Lutjen); and her husband Robert Vern Abney. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Abney of Manchester, Daniel Abney (Patty) of Columbia and Mark Abney (Julie) of Sedalia; her grandchildren, Christina Wagner (Josh) of Columbia, Kevin Edwards (Kim) of Wentzville, Robert Abney (Allison) of Columbia, Leslie Lidholm (Ryan) of Columbia, Tyler Abney of Sedalia, Kassidy Abney of Sedalia, Paige Abney of Sedalia and Adelynn Abney of Sedalia; her great grandchildren, Luke, Jack, Carter, May, Hudson and Poppy Ann; and her brother Don Miesner (Angie) of Belton.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (3700 W Broadway Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Our Savior Lutheran Church Radio Ministry, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
