She was predeceased by: her husband Terrence Lew Tolan; and her parents, Lemon Davis and Nella Ruth Davis. She is survived by: her children, Terrence K. Tolan (Charlotte) of De Soto, Missouri., Karen L. Franklin (Harold) of Sedalia, Missouri, Glen R. Tolan (Karen) of Festus, Missouri and Tamara S. Stricklan of Downs, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Britni, Blake Tolan (Amanda), Devon, Joe, Chelsea, Shana, Nicholas, Natalie, Chris, Greg, Kevin, Daniel, Anthony and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brantley and Hank.
Shirley was an 18-year survivor of Multiple Myeloma and died of complications due to Covid-19.
