He was predeceased by: his father Milford Lee Monteer; his uncles, Larry Monteer of Chillicothe, Earl Monteer of Wheatland and Everett Monteer of Sedalia; his aunt Frances Tucker of Sedalia; and his brother Daniel Sneider.
He is survived by: his mother Merlene M. Monteer (Reynolds) of Warsaw; his wife Mallorie Smith; his stepparents, Steve and Colleen Phillips; his children, Daniel Lee McCoyd Monteer and Brooklyn Lee Monteer; his stepson Mason Morton of Sedalia; his siblings, Barry J. "B. J.", Angela Monteer of Sedalia, Leah Monteer (Daniel) of Sedalia and Aubrey Coday (Ryan) of Otterville; and his stepsisters, Christina Randolph, Kimberly Newland and Geni Cook.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
