She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie C. Morris and Ethel M. Morris (Abney); her husband Howard Whitaker; and her sister Crystal Morris (Ralph Wessing). She is survived by: her daughter Kandy Whitaker of Sedalia; and her close friends, Juanita Gerke, Charles Schuster and Valerie Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made to Open Door or the Sedalia Senior Center in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
