He was predeceased by: his parents, Willburn Kirtley Salmons Sr. and Sarah Goldie Salmons (Stout); his wife Nancy Johansen; and his siblings, Charles Salmons, Evelyn, Jessie, Joann and Mabel.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Farris (Mike) of Belton, MO, Kelly Baxter (John) of Sacramento and Wayne Tracy (Lecia) of Sedalia; and his sister Georgie Salmons of Lee's Summit, MO. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
