She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; and her son Norman Kent. She is survived by: her parents, William Houston and Louisa Pearl Metcalf Russell; and her children, William Hicks of Granite City, Illinois, Jerald Hicks of Imperial, Missouri, Darrell James of Barnhart, Missouri and Lisa Fadler of Sedgewickville, Missouri. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren.
