He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jana; his children, Shannon (Greg Hatfield), Matt (Kayla Hayes), Mark (Hannah Hayes) and Ashley (Jeffery Kelley); his mother Polly; his siblings, Bill (Madeline Hayes), Cathy Mahoney, Mike (Marie Hayes) and Patty (Doug Downum); his son David (Carolyn Sandtorf); his uncle Tim; his father William "Bill" Hayes; and his brother-in-law Jim Mahoney. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
