She was predeceased by : her parents, V. E. Heard and Betty Jane Haney Heard; her husband Bobby Joe Swearengin; and her siblings, Loretta Bruton, Mable Evans, Hazel Heard, Marie Cornelison Cantrell, Margaret Cummins, June Douthitt Bennett, Twylah Owens Willard, Floyd, Virgil, Jess and Jerry.
She is survived by : her daughter Sandy Newman (Gary) of Diggins; her grandchildren, Ricky J. Swearengin Jr. (Becky) of Seymour, Jeff Newman (Brenda) of Seymour, Gayla Freeman (Scott) of Diggins and Angie Johns (Tony) of Diggins; her great grandchildren, Tyler Newman, Tim Beck, Stormi Akers, Jett Jones, Jordan Freeman, Preston Freeman, Skyler Newman, Laikan Newman, Lilly Bray, Audrey Owings, Moriah Chari, Reece Swearengin and Abiel Swearengin; her great great grandchildren, Tristan Beck, Lucy Owings and Corbin Beck; and her sister-in-law Wanda Heard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
