She was predeceased by : her father Robert E. Lee. She is survived by : her mother Patsy Lee (Pott) of Florissant, MO; her children, Sean Shafer of Silex, MO, Robert Shafer of Silex, MO and Alissa Shafer of Silex, MO; the father of her children Cory Shafer; her brother Robert (Cindy Lee) of Georgia; her daughter Maureen Shafer; her sister-in-law Brittany (Josh Martz); and her aunts, Susan Ridenhour and Judy Krshul of Hazelwood. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jennifer had been working from home during the pandemic and doing medical billing, insurance and coding.
