She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Williams and Willie Clyde Williams. She is survived by: her son Rex Sims (Judy) of Huntsville, Alabama; her husband Mancil Sims of Kansas City, Missouri.; her daughter Sherri Clegg Smithville (Rob); her grandchildren, Dennis Sims (Stephanie) of Center Point, Alabama, Alyssa Sink (Jake) of Kansas City, Missouri, Mason Clegg and Alayna Clegg of Smithville, Missouri.; and her great grandchildren, Sibella, Balian and Lyanna Sims.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley supported feeding Christians in Africa through Nashua Church of Christ.
