It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bob Robert J. Lohmeyer of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman H., Sr. and Mabel Ketchum Lohmeyer; his wife Carol Boehmer Lohmeyer; his parents-in-law, Julius and Virginia Boehmer of St. Louis; and his siblings, Gene, Herman, Jr., Roberta Lohmeyer and Mary Ann "Mitzi" Johnson.

He is survived by : his children, Don (Julie Lohmeyer), Jim (Jill Lohmeyer) and Cathy (Harold Zinter) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Joel, Jared, Matthew, Ryan, Jennifer Craige (Ean), Josie Morris, Katy Kidwell (Geoff), Whitney Bryant (Blake) and Bethany McDonald (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Maddy, Austin Morris, Gus, Louis Bryant, Dotty and Hazel McDonald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25th 2021 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Inc. (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2818 E Bennett St, Springfield, MO 65804). A burial will be held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (Unnamed Road, Springfield, MO 65802). Due to Covid, there will be no formal visitation, but friends may call after 1pm Thursday in the funeral home.
