He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Sharpe and Jack Welborn. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Green; his brother Donald; his children, Jeff and Wendy Welborn; and his grandchildren, Johnathan (Klarissa Welborn), James (Megan Welborn), Matthew (Noelle Welborn), Katie Welborn and Nascar.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospital or the American Kidney Foundation.
