It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hershey (Springfield, Missouri), born in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Stender and Evelyn Stender; her husband John Hershey; and her brothers, Dennis Stender and Bruce Stender.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Lowenthal-Hershey (Jason); her granddaughters, Josie, Joy and Julie; her children, Danny and Tabatha Calvert; her grandchildren, Alex and Alyssa Calvert; her sister Winnie Tharp; her stepchildren, Jack Hershey and Ginny Hershey; and her sister Susan Johnson.
