He was predeceased by : his parents, Matt Robinette and Pearl Robinette (Williamson); his parents-in-law, Homer and Lorean Branson; his wife Rose Lee Robinette (Branson); his children, Nancy Whitaker and Donald Lee Owens; his son-in-law Bill Gandy; his siblings, Willie Robinette, Hughdan Robinette, Matt Robinette, Jr., Chester Robinette, Elkie Hubbard, Barbara Blackburn, Emma Robinette and Arlene Robinette; and his siblings-in-law, Loyd Maynard, Buddy Lawson and Mary Alm.

He is survived by : his children, Charles Robinette, Jr. (Shelly) of Columbia, SC, Wayne Robinette of Columbia, SC, Retta Gandy of Ocala, FL and Nelson Homer Owens (Paula) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Anthony Frederich of St. Louis, MO, Daniel Frederich (Tabitha) of Lake St, Jody Groenke (Jon) of San Antonio, TX, Dawn Ragona (Chuck) of Mahomet, IL, Austin Owens of St. Louis, MO, Tony Mullen of St. Louis, MO, Shawn Mullen of St. Louis, MO, William Gandy of Ocala, FL, Eddie Robinette (Amanda) of Columbia, SC and Renee Robinette of Columbia, SC; and his sisters, Phyllis Maynard of Dearborn Heights, MI and Loretta Lawson of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
