He was predeceased by: his parents, James Isaac and Ruby Mae Waters (Davis); and his siblings, James A. Waters, Jerold Waters and Judith Craven.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Elaine Hawkins of Stet; his sons, Jerry Waters (Jonetta) of Stet, Steve Waters (Leslie) of Kansas City and Paul Waters (Kimberly) of Paola, KS; his grandchildren, Jessica Stith (Zach), Joshua Waters (Erin), Danielle Roesing (Tyler), Holly Waters (James Doyle), Erik Waters (Milea), Sydni Waters, Brooke Clark (Daniel), Luke Mathews and Hannah Mathews; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Stith, Dillon Oyler, Finley Waters, Lillian Waters, Tristan Roesing, Haylee Doyle, Kye Doyle, Brystal Clark, Laney Clark, Jaxton Mathews and Landon Mathews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Bethany Church of the Brethren, Wakenda Cemetery, or Stet Fire Department.
