It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Swofford of Stover, Missouri, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alta Swofford to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her siblings, Willard, Merele, Amos Lee, Benjamine Pogue, Lucille Whittle, Beulah Thorson, Bessie McCoy and Mary Dale Gray.
She is survived by : her daughter Alta; her husband Harold Swofford; her sons, Carl Swofford (Mary) of Illinois and Darrel Swofford (Rose) of Missouri; and her brother Cecil Pogue (Lily) of Stover. She is also survived by four grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
