It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet James (Sturdivant, Missouri), born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow W. Shavnore and Ercie Imogene Duncan Shavnore; and her daughter Janice James. She is survived by: her children, Kenny Odell James Jr. of Advance, Missouri and Ercie Rodgers (Mike) of Sturdivant; her siblings, Jiles Markham of Advance, Olive Fay Wallace of Lowndes and Williodean Brown of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Dustin James, Holly James, Timothy Rodgers, Jeremy Rodgers and Kayla Rodgers; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Bentley, Bristol, Kendra, Rylan and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to help with expenses.
