Woodcock of Sullivan, Missouri, born in Bourbon, Missouri, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Essman and Charlotte Essman; her former life partner Leslie Woodcock; her son-in-law Eddie Lang; and her siblings, Lytle Essman and Zoe Stroup.

She is survived by : her children, Marcha Lang of Sullivan, MO and Jason Woodcock (Jennifer) of Cowan, TN; her grandchildren, Russell Blackwell (Kari) of Sullivan, Casey Bridgeman (Kimberly) of Sullivan, Faith Evans (George) of Tennessee, Gracey Amacher (Andrew) of Tennessee, Christian Woodcock of Tennessee and Andrew Woodcock of Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Kambria, Paislee, Carlotta, Adalyn, Bella, Logan, Matthew, Josiah and Grayson; her brother Alfred "Downey" Essman of Turner, OR; and her sister-in-law Eunice Essman of Bourbon, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Clara's memory to HALO, Meramec Mission, and First Baptist Church of Sullivan.
