She was predeceased by: her parents, Williard Thurman and Pearl O. Thurman (Rickard); and her sisters, Doris Pettis and Arleta Adams. She is survived by: her husband James R. Lucas of Sullivan; her daughter Jean Poetzl (Rob) of Bourbon; her grandchildren, Tracy Carollo (Jessica) of Sullivan and Travis Carollo (Lauren) of Sullivan; her great grandchildren, Rory, Asher, Ainsley Carollo, Aubrey and Lucca Carollo; her nephew Harcan Adams (Evelyn); and her niece Sally Simpson (Jim). She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
