He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph George and Ruth Hatter (Robertson); his wife Dorothy Moore; his daughter Arva; and his brothers, Gene Hatter, Paul Hatter, Chet Hatter, Lynn Dahlen, Dale Hatter, Wallace Hatter and Basil Hatter.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah White, Alena James, Tommie Hatter, Elembia Holland, Ronald Hatter and Joseph Hatte; and his siblings, Donald Loas, Clara Belle Smith, Vi Hileman and Dorothy Salballas. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.
