He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Elfline and Mary Elfline (Gentry); and his brothers, Marvin, Milferd and Melburn Elfline.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Young; his sons, Roger Elfline and Gary Steelman (Melissa) of Mtn; his grandson Joseph Steelman of Mtn; his sister Mildred Brautigam of New Haven, MO; and his parents-in-law, Loretta Elfline of Hermann, MO, Wanda, Dean German of Hartshorn, MO, Ruthie, Ray James of Trask, MO, Alta, David James of Licking, MO, Glen Young of Summersville, MO, Larry and Janet Young of Winona, MO.
