She was predeceased by: her grandparents, E. C. Kaneff, Edward and Mary Platt. She is survived by: her parents, John Platt and Margaret Anne Platt (Kaneff); her daughter Ashley King (Ryan) of Blue Springs, MO; her siblings, Elizabeth Higgins of Knob Noster, MO, Lynn White (Larrie) of Lincoln, MO, Sandra Funderburgh (Jim) of South Charleston, OH, Valerie Redmon (Rick) of Springfield, OH, Steven Platt (Beth) of Freeburg, MO and John Platt (Angie) of Bates City, MO; and her grandchildren, Ari and Grayson King. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in care of the funeral home.
