He is survived by: his children, Maggie Ramirez (James Clausen), Michael Norman and Cole Smith; his grandchildren, Adriana of Fairfax, Alejandra of Fairfax and Alicia Ramirez of Fairfax; his siblings, Sandra Austin, Mark Whaley and Kenny Smith (Flora); and his sister-in-law Joyce Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
